Overtime calculator

We have created a tool for you!

The hours’ calculator is a tool we have developed in order to calculate the average number of hours worked over a 4-week period, as it is written in article 15.04 of the collective agreement. It also keeps track of the total number of overtime hours worked, and the associated time off used, throughout each 4-week period.

In order to use this tool, all you need to do is write the total number of hours you worked each week in the “Number of hours worked” column, on the correct line for the current week.

The tool will automatically calculate the average over the 4-week period, the number of overtime hours credited or used, and the balance of your time off bank.

Note: In order to count as overtime, the extra hours worked must have been authorised in writing by your researcher in charge.
